Best Ball Handling Drills, part 5
So here it is! The last day of the five days to better ball handling program. I hope that you have seen some improvement so far by using the program, and I hope the basketball Ball Handling Drills have been fun and useful for you. If this is the first post you have seen in the series, please refer back to my earlier posts for the earlier drills. And remember, the more time you put into these drills the more you will get out of them.
Day 5 10 Minutes:
Practice dribbling with two balls at once. Hold a ball in each hand, and slowly dribble both at the same time. As you get better, start to dribble with your hands in a higher position than before. The higher your hands are, the harder it is to keep control of both balls. 10 Minutes:
Dribble very low and very fast between hands. To get some additional practice, vary the angle at which you are dribbling. Do this as fast as you can. If you have trouble at first, just go slowly and work up to a speed that you feel is challenging. 10 Minutes:
This is a hard one, and it takes a great deal of coordination. To start, hold the ball in your right hand while lying on the ground. Get in a situp position and start dribbling with your right hand. As you do a situp, dribble the ball up your site, around your feet, then dribble it to your left hand. As you go back down from the situp, dribble the ball with your left hand until you are lying on the ground again. Repeat this exercise for 10 minutes.
Congrats! You have finished the 5 day program and hopefully seen a great deal of improvement in your ball handling skills.
